More new patients finding you on Google, on Maps and in AI answers.
We help healthcare businesses get more patients and spend less time on admin.
Opal Health Consulting is a founder-led consultancy that helps clinics in Australia and New Zealand with AI. Founder Aaron Henry has owned and run a multidisciplinary clinic and founded a software company. We work with allied health, dental and specialist practices on four jobs: getting found, converting enquiries, keeping patients and automating admin.
More new patients finding you on Google, on Maps and in AI answers.
More of the people who enquire becoming booked patients.
More patients coming back, without anyone chasing them.
Less repetitive work for your team.
A patient asks ChatGPT or Google for a clinic like yours, and the one down the road gets named instead of you.
We fix your site's technical basics, write the pages search engines and AI tools pull answers from, and tidy your Google Business Profile. AEO (answer engine optimisation) is the part that gets you named in AI answers.
A patient finds your site, can't tell which service suits them or how to book, and leaves.
We build or rework your site so the path from first visit to booking is short and obvious, with a page for each service you want more of.
An enquiry lands on a Friday evening, nobody replies until Monday, and the patient has already booked elsewhere.
We set up a CRM (one system that holds every enquiry and patient) so each enquiry gets a prompt reply and past patients get a nudge to rebook.
Your front desk spends the day on phone calls, reminders and re-typing notes into a second system.
We find the repetitive jobs and hand them to automation and AI, with your team still in control of what goes out.

Opal Health was founded by Aaron Henry to help healthcare businesses make practical use of AI.
He trained as an osteopath, then spent seven years running a multidisciplinary clinic. From there he founded a health tech company and spent years selling software into scale-ups and large corporates.
When you work with Opal, you work directly with the person designing the strategy and implementing the solution.
You tell us what you are trying to achieve, and we tell you whether AI can get you there and roughly what it would take.
We talk through what you want to achieve using AI. We will help you scope it, with the aim of working out whether we are a good fit to help you get there. Sometimes we can give you an indication of project size and cost on this call.
A longer working session, designed to map out the vision or the workflows you are looking to implement. Detailed enough that what comes next can be priced properly rather than guessed at.
A short call to walk you through what we would build, in what order, and what it costs. You decide from there, and there is no obligation to go ahead.
Doing nothing is also a decision. It just does not arrive as an invoice. It turns up as hours, as people, and as the competitor who got there first.
Every hour spent on routine manual tasks is an hour not spent on the work you hired them for. Nobody ever sends you a bill for that, which is exactly why it keeps happening.
Somewhere nearby, a competitor has taken the grunt work off their team's plate. That is a real reason to move, and it rarely gets said out loud on the way out.
More visible when people go looking. More content going out. A clearer read on their own numbers. More leads coming in, and more of them converting. None of that is luck.
There are two ways in which we work.
A defined piece of work with a start and a finish. A website, an AI rollout, a search visibility push.
Ongoing work at an agreed number of hours a month, for businesses that want the improvements to keep coming.
We work inside your systems, under access you control and can switch off.
Australia: your clinic stays in control under the Privacy Act 1988. New Zealand: the Privacy Act 2020 binds us directly, and we work to your clinic's Health Information Privacy Code.
The roadmap names specific tasks and what each one is worth. If it still reads as hype when you have it in front of you, you have lost half an hour and kept the document.
We do not hold it. Access runs through a login you create, scoped to the job, and switched off the day we finish. Nothing gets exported. Read the full detail on how we handle client data.
That is the thing we are trying to fix. The call is thirty minutes, and the first two or three changes usually hand hours back rather than take them.
Everything is scoped from the audit and quoted from that scope. Project work is quoted, done and finished. A retainer runs against agreed hours, and where it carries a minimum term that term is agreed up front, before anything starts. Nothing rolls on by default. If you do not need much, the recommendations say so and we do not pretend otherwise.
We are early, and pretending otherwise would be the first bad sign. Running a clinic and building software is not new: Aaron, the founder, has done both for years. Work with us and you work directly with him, not a wider team.
No. Be careful with anyone who does, particularly on AI search. What we will commit to is agreeing up front what would count as working, then telling you either way.
If a call is not where you want to start, tell us what is going on and we will reply, usually the same day.
Please do not submit patient or client records. Read the privacy policy. You can also email aaron@opalhealth.com.au directly.
You tell us how the business runs and what keeps getting in the way, and we tell you whether there is anything here worth doing.
